How do I choose an agent?
You should choose a real estate agent like any other professional who you’re hiring. First, check out their background (homes sold, years in the industry, credentials). Next, me with them to discuss your unique situation. Don’t be afraid to ask questions—It is important that you and your agent are on the same page as far as your real estate goals are concerned. In the end, it’s about the agent you feel most comfortable working with.
How will you market my home if I list it with you?
We market our properties in many ways:
- The Internet is a huge tool for buyers and sellers today. Our homes are listed here and at www.theokobojilife.com. We also share our homes through Facebook and other social media.
- We hold weekend Open House events on a regular basis. This is not only a good opportunity for the public to view our listings, but also for us to meet the buyers and sellers and see how we might be able to be of service.
- Print marketing through newspaper ads and mailers remains a key component of our overall marketing strategy for all listings.
- We are also making direct contact either through email or phone calls with people you and I think would potentially be interested in purchasing your home.
How can you help me if I am currently in the market for a home?
If you’re in the market for a home, we are available to show any property that is listed. We’ll line up a showing with the listing agent or homeowner to make sure it’s available to be seen at the time you desire.
If you’re interested in a particular area or neighborhood we can provide more information, such as the sale price of other homes in the area, and discuss the differences and similarities between those homes and they ones you’re looking at.
Finally, once you’ve chosen a home to purchase, we’ll help you submit a written offer to the buyer, get financing in order, have a home inspection performed, and guide you through the rest of the process to arrive at a successful closing.
